Evan Williams Launches New American-Made Hero Foundation
Evan Williams is one of the largest American-made and owned Bourbon brand in the country, with a longstanding history of supporting America’s military veterans. You may have seen their red, white, and blue American Hero Edition bottles, which hit store shelves every May. What you may not know is that Evan Williams has also donated over $300,000 to 501(c)(3) organizations serving veterans in the last five years.
In 2020, Evan Williams established the American-Made Heroes Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation of Louisville to continue supporting these nonprofits and funding the services and programs they provide to veterans and their families.
“We are honored to launch the American-Made Heroes Foundation Fund with the support of the Community Foundation of Louisville and continue the brand’s efforts to celebrate veterans who protect the American spirit,” said Julie Cole, Evan Williams Bourbon Brand Manager. “With a history of supporting our country’s veterans, we are proud to kick off the official fund with a focus on supporting veteran communities most at risk during this time.”
The first mission of the American-Made Heroes Foundation is to make sure that these organizations can continue to serve the veteran community during the COVID-19 crisis. Now through June 24th, they are awarding COVID-19 Veteran Relief Grants of up to $5,000 to selected 501(c)(3) organizations that are supporting veterans who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
