Tax Benefits

Because we are a public charity, donors receive an immediate tax benefit on the date the gift is made to the Foundation. Donors can then take their time and be thoughtful about where and when they want to recommend grants to their favorite organizations.

We offer an unmatched level of personal service and local knowledge at every step along your philanthropic journey. From working with you or your professional advisor to establish the right type of fund, to Philanthropy by Design, our team provides personal service and local knowledge only available through the Community Foundation of Louisville.
