Andrew Binford
In November 2024, Andrew Binford joined the Community Foundation of Louisville as an Analyst for the Foundation’s Invest Louisville impact investing program. Andrew has nearly 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, including commercial mortgage-backed securities, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate “workout” or special assets. Additionally, he has eight years of experience as a Vice President and Sr. Asset Manager for PNC Tax Credit Capital, one of the largest tax credit syndicators in the United States.
While at PNC, Andrew primarily focused on resolving issues pertaining to low-income housing tax credit partnerships, such as developer or guarantor/general partner conflicts, construction issues, adverse submarket trends unexpected during underwriting, and litigation and legal document review. Andrew was also one of the original members of PNC’s Engagement Council, a company-wide effort to increase employee engagement. He and a small group of employees also compiled a monthly newsletter called The Syndicator, where Andrew served as the first editor.
Andrew was born and raised in Louisville, and aside from five years working in the downtown Chicago Loop, Louisville is where he’s called home. He graduated from Trinity High School and Bellarmine University, where he played soccer for both. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing soccer, riding his Onewheel, reading, watching documentaries, volunteering for Ronald McDonald House, and spending quality time with his wife, Scarlet.
