Curt Scott
Believe you can, and you can. Belief is one of the most powerful of all problem dissolvers. When you believe that a difficulty can be overcome, you are more than halfway to victory over it already.
Curt is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he earned a BS in Commerce in 1976. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (1982). In 1978, Curt started his investment career with First Kentucky National as an equity analyst. In 1986, he moved to New York to manage mutual funds for Oppenheimer Management and later joined Lazard Freres Asset Management as a portfolio manager for Taft-Hartley and Corporate Accounts. Curt joined Capitoline Investment Services in 1991 as Vice President and Sr. Portfolio Manager. In 1993, he joined Executive Investment Advisors as Managing Director and Sr. Portfolio Manager. In 1996, Curt joined Todd Investment Advisors as a member of the equity management team and was made President of Todd Investment Advisors in January 2006. He now serves as President of Todd Asset Management. Curt is an active member of the Louisville Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Curt Scott joined the Community Foundation of Louisville in 2018 and has served as Chair of the Investment Committee. He has been thrilled about the positive impact that the Foundation has made on our community. As the Community Foundation of Louisville progresses with its strategic plan, Curt is extremely excited to see the Foundation expand its services and investment options for donors and its greater impact on the community.
