Emily Monarch

Emily Monarch joined the Community Foundation of Louisville in 2024. As the Foundation’s Director of Gift Planning, Emily helps donors make a meaningful impact through philanthropy during their lifetimes and long after they are gone. With over a decade of experience in estate planning and administration, Emily understands that individuals aspire to leave an enduring legacy for future generations.

Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude from Transylvania University and second in her class from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. Following graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Simpson, III on the United States District Court of the Western District of Kentucky before beginning a career in private practice. Prior to joining the Community Foundation of Louisville, Emily created and led Elder Law Solutions, PLLC, a law firm dedicated to helping families navigate the legal and financial challenges of advanced age, chronic illness, and disability.

Emily and her husband Will have three children and enjoy entertaining and traveling.
