Hanna Moore

Hanna Moore began her career at the Community Foundation of Louisville in November 2024 as an Associate in Gifts and Philanthropic Services. Before joining us at the Foundation, Hanna managed a nonprofit summer camp, Camp Freedom, that provided free programming to children in special focus areas. These focus areas included children in foster/kinship care, children who were blind or visually impaired, and children who were deaf or hard of hearing.

Hanna’s journey engaging with nonprofit organizations started at a young age. She recalls volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Kentuckiana at age 10 and meeting a bright and bubbly toddler who had overcome brain cancer. That afternoon, they made and decorated Christmas cookies for the small girl to take to her siblings – she was finally going home!

Experiences like this helped Hanna find her path. Her passion is helping underserved populations and guiding others to find the same joy in volunteering. Hanna and her partner, Zach, met while volunteering as counselors at the free summer camp. Together, they enjoy making a difference in the community and have served at such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, Lions Clubs International, Bernheim Forest, Breakthrough T1D, and many others.
